Nawshirwan Mustafa was a highly regarded individual, esteemed by both his political successors and adversaries. His impact on this challenging region was profound, carrying significant spiritual, social, and political weight. He consistently renewed his perspectives and was a skilled political innovator, boasting extensive experience across various domains of Kurdish thought, politics, sociology, language, history, and literature. This culminated in the establishment of an unprecedented political opposition movement within the last century of Iraqi governance. His absence left a notable vacuum, revealing him as the driving force behind the opposition movement. In conclusion, echoing the words of a poet, “May his tongue be hairy and his fingers fall off, whoever takes Gulshan with the pain of Gulkhani of Hell.”
