Gorran Movement’s Statement on the Turkish Invasion :
The Gorran Movement condemns the Turkish occupation regime’s attacks on Kurdistan territory, particularly in the areas of the Soran Independence Administration, including Bradost, Choman, and Ruandz. We believe the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government must protect the borders, territory, and airspace of the Kurdistan Region.
We call on the UN representative in Iraq, consuls and representatives of countries that support Kurds, the House of Representatives, political parties, human rights organizations, and civil society to take a stand and work to prevent the invasion and occupation by the Turkish state. We cannot stand by while our citizens and compatriots are martyred and injured, villages are deserted, and people’s fields are burned.
Any party in Iraq and Kurdistan that sympathizes with or facilitates the Turkish invasion will be considered guilty of national treason.
